The display was engineered by AEG Telefunken, building upon a concept by A V de V Krause (referenced in Wireless World, July 1974, p.259). It features a 2-inch diagonal screen and a tube length of roughly 4.5 inches. To conserve power, electrostatic deflection is employed.
